(EVERETT, WA.) – The Everett Police Department has announced
the 2017 Everett Police Annual Awards Ceremony will be held on
Tuesday, February 13 at the Everett Performing Arts Center.
The award presentations will include “Of the Year”
acknowledgements, Certificates of Merit, Medals of Merit, Letters of
Commendation and Citizen Commendations.
The public is welcome to join members of the department as
recognize officers, civilian employees, volunteers and citizens who
went above and beyond the call of duty during the year to make a
difference in our community.

SUPERVISOR OF THE YEAR
OFFICER OF THE YEAR
Officer Robert Martinez
CIVILIAN OF THE YEAR
INVESTIGATOR OF THE YEAR
BRIAN DIBUCCI AWARD
Awarded to an outstanding patrol officer, within
five years of service, selected for their dedication to the community
and proactive police work.
Officer Alex Lever
VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR
Ms. Barbara Brown
MEDAL OF MERIT
Awarded to department members who distinguish
the line of duty by acts of personal bravery or actions directly
contributing to saving or significantly prolonging human life.
Officer Tad Halbert
CERTIFICATE OF MERIT
Presented to recognize a high degree of competence
professionalism in the performance of departmental duties.
Officer Travis Katzer
LETTER OF COMMENDATION
Presented to department members who perform their
duties in a
manner that demonstrates professionalism, devotion to duty, and
dedication to the performance of the department mission.
Officer Lucas Dacy
Presented to any non-department member who
the department or its officers in some way. This includes assistance
in the solution of crime or the apprehension of criminals, aiding an
officer in the field during a critical situation, and cooperation
with or assistance to the department as a whole in any aspect of the
department’s administration or operations.
