Drive By Shooting In King County's Skyway Area
Teenage girl wounded

November 07, 2017

(SKYWAY, WA.) -- Authorities say a 17-year old girl was hit by gunfire Monday night in a drive-by shooting in the Skyway area of unincorporated King County.

Skyway lies in an unincorporated "donut hole" roughly between the cities of Seattle, Tukwila and Renton.

The girl was reportedly walking down 60th Avenue South, just north of Martin Luther King Jr. Way just before 8 pm when the shots rang out.

KCPQ-TV in Seattle reported the girl was hit in the thigh and was rushed to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.

The King County Sheriff's office had not released, as of early Tuesday morning, a description of the vehicle and/o shooter.
