Remember when the Republican party was not in power in
GOP lawmakers used to bitch and moan and whine like little children at
turn about that old time religion, "fiscal responsibility," too much
government spending, too much national debt, a dangerous national
on and on and on?
think with all that
whining before the news cameras every time the red light was on, that
really cared about all that stuff.
now that their party is
in power what do they do?
like sailors drunk on
cheap whiskey, in town for a 24-hour shore leave and spend like there's
some fun facts for all
the suckers in the house who bought into that nonsense that Republicans
deeply about fiscal responsibility:
the U.S. Senate approved a budget outline that
agrees to take more than
$1.5 trillion in proposed tax cuts and put that monster right onto the
U.S. credit card for you,
your kids and grandkids to pay off.
......As a report Friday in the
Seattle Times put it:
"It’s now official: After marching around in tri-corner hats warning
how debts and deficits were sucking freedom right out of the country
eight years when the other guys were in the White House, the GOP has
one of the more remarkable flip-flops on a core political value."
.......When President Obama, in the
midst of the worst
recession in decades was running a fiscal stimulus plan so as not make
recession a full blown depression, the Republicans screamed bloody
.......That Seattle Times article
quotes a Georgetown law
professor and former congressional budget staffer named Stan Collender
saying, “Let it be shouted from every mountaintop in the United States:
Republican Party is a federal budget-deficit and national-debt fraud."
..... . From 2001 to 2008 Republicans
(saying then that
"deficits don't matter) slashed taxes and increased spending. But as
as that Democrat Barack Obama got into the White House in 2009,
only mattered again they were "the holy grail of politics," according
to that Times report.

Ways The House Republican Budget Will Harm Working Families to Pay For
Millionaire Tax Cuts."
And if that doesn't float your boat check out this tweet by gahzillionaire Nick
Hanauer of the Seattle area telling all those
working class Trump voters how the Republicans in power are going to
hose them good just so that guys like him get his tax cuts....the ones he's
not even asking for. :)
