Desk Clerk At Seatac Motel Shot To Death During Robbery
June 17, 2018

CLCIK TO ENLARGE: America’s Best Value Inn, the 20600 block of International Blvd., South
(SEATAC, WA.) – The King County Sheriff’s office says a clerk at the America’s Best Value Inn located in the 20600 block of International Blvd., South was found shot in the lobby of the Motel Friday night.

He was rushed to the hospital but died from his injuries. A sheriff’s office statement said that Friday evening around 11:15 pm the shuttle driver for the Inn along with a passenger, “found the front desk clerk shot in the lobby.”

Police and Medics arrived and provided CPR to the victim, who was transported to Harborview Hospital. The victim, a 40-year old man from Spanaway, Washington died from his injuries.

“King County Major Crimes Detectives have determined that this started as a robbery of the Motel’s cash when the victim was shot and ultimately killed,” said the KCSO statement.

Detectives are continuing to work this investigation. If anyone saw anything suspicious at or near the motel Friday night they are asked to call the King County Sheriff’s Office at 206/296-3311.
