DelBene To Meet With Local Brewers Affected By Trump Administration Tariffs
June 16, 2018

Rep. Susan DelBene
(REDMOND, WA.) – On Saturday June 16, Congresswoman Suzan DelBene (WA-01) will meet with local brewers who are being affected by the tariffs the Trump administration is placing on steel and aluminum.

The discussion will take place at the Washington Brewers Festival in Redmond. A member of the House Ways & Means Committee, Rep. DelBene has pushed for a trade policy "that opens new markets and levels the playing field for American farmers, workers, small business owners and families," according to a statement from DelBene's office.

DelBene opposes President Trump’s “trade war with our closest allies” and is calling attention to the negative impact she says it will have on workers and businesses in Washington, the most trade dependent state in the nation.
