DelBene Schedules News Conference in Seattle on Women’s Health

(SEATTLE, WA.) – On Friday July 20, Washington state Congresswoman Suzan DelBene (WA-01) will host a news conference on women’s health and economic empowerment.

Joining DelBene will be joined by representatives from Planned Parenthood, Moms Rising, and NARAL. A statement from DelBene’s office says participants will discuss the importance of defending women’s rights and how women’s health care rights and economic equality are interrelated, “In response to the Trump administration’s and congressional Republicans’ constant attacks on women’s health and reproductive rights.”
DelBene is a strong defender of women’s reproductive rights and access to medical care as well as advocating for women’s economic empowerment including equal pay in the work place, paid leave, and affordable child care.
