"How Pathetic Is This?"

(NATIONAL) -- Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders Facebook-posted an interesting question yesterday.
"How pathetic is this," Bro Bernie writes. "In order to sell the just-passed Republican tax bill, the Koch brother network is launching a multimillion-dollar campaign to educate voters on why massive tax breaks for billionaires is a positive thing for the average American."
"Well, I've got news for the Kochs and other Republican billionaire campaign contributors: The American people are catching on. The majority opposed this horrific piece of legislation and Republicans should be worried about that in 2018."
However, Bro Bernie has one thing wrong about all that. The American people don't need to be "educated" by billionaires about what a steaming pile of monkey poop that God-awful rip-off GOP "tax reform" (wink-wink) bill is for the American people.
They're already educated. That's why all the polls show the vast majority in this country despise that bill - the absolute worst legislation passed in 30 years - because they know they've been hosed once again by the fat, rich, old (and mostly white) lawmakers in Washington who don't represent anyone other than the wealthy, Wall Street and corporations.
Oh, and now Putin. Forgot to mention the head Commie they all love and represent now because Captain Hairspray (better known as the unstable, nutty as a walnut Twitter-head in Chief) has a bromance goin' with Puty. Possibly because of that alleged Pee-Pee tape? Nobody knows.
What the born-with-silver spoons Koch brothers are gonna try to do with that big "education" campaign is nothing less than brain-wash Joe and Jill Sixpack into thinking that the bill that was designed for people like the Kochs and Sam Walton's heirs is really just peachy keen and wonderful for the Sixpacks.
Buzzfeed, which Bernie links to in that post says the "political network affiliated with billionaire industrialists Charles and David Koch" will launch that ad (not education) campaign in order to influence voters in the 2018 mid term elections because the rich know very well it is extremely unpopular with voters and if truth be known, there's some nervousness among Republicans that voters could be ticked of so much by that bill and other antics of this President and Republican controlled congress, that they just might be in a mood to throw the bums out and hand Democrats a majority in the House and Senate.
Buzzfeed notes that the rich boys political network is "funded by hundreds of wealthy GOP donors" and it has already spent more than $20 million this year on pushing the bill.
The big Brainwash Campaign that's coming to sell this offensive pile of mule dung will include TV, radio, and digital ads (lies) along with town hall events, seminars, workshops, phone banking, and door knocking.
Wow. It's gonna be just swell.
A recent CNN poll found that opposition to the stinky "tax reform" scam has grown by 10 points since November. Based on the poll, 55% of those surveyed oppose it and only 33% favor it.
