(KENT, WA.) – Police in Kent say a man posing as a walk-up customer to a coffee stand jumped in through a window and assaulted a “bikini” barista, then attempted to rape her early Tuesday morning.
Just before 5:00 am police responded to the Hottie Shots Espresso stand after the 30-year old barista called in the attack.
She told officers the man walked up to the stand, ordered a drink and as she had her back to him making it, the man shoved open the order window wide enough for him to jump through it. He then held her at knife point briefly before forcing her outside the stand through the same window he entered.
See video at upper right.
Once the man got her outside he tried to sexually assault her but was scared off by the vehicle headlights of a customer that pulled into the drive-thru.
The attacker is described as a white male in his 30s, about 5-feet-5-inches tall with dark hair and lightly colored facial hair. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black baseball hat with a brown bill.
Anyone who might know who the suspect is is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or the Kent police tip line at 253-856-5808.
