Bicyclist from Everett badly injured when motorcycle crashes into her bicycle

(LYNNWOOD, WA.) – The Washington State Patrol (WSP) says a bicycle rider was badly injured late Saturday night when a motorcycle crashed into the woman’s bike near Lynnwood, WA.
The accident happened about 11:30 pm on Highway 99 just south of 156th St. SW and just north of the Lynnwood city limits.
The WSP report says a 1999 Harley Davidson “Softail Fat Boy” motorcycle was headed southbound on Highway 99 in lane 3 of 3 when a bicycle crossed the southbound lanes from east to west, “Into the path of the motorcycle where it was struck."
Badly injured and transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle was the bicycle rider identified as 49-year old Dawn M. Eastman of Everett, Washington.
Also injured and later booked into the Snohomish County Jail, said the WSP report, was the motorcycle rider identified as 52-year old Robert Graham of Bothell, WA.
The patrol report says the cause of the crash is under investigation and that charges are “pending.”
