(SNOHOMISH, WA) -- Get your grilling apron ready and your best BBQ sauce prepared because there’s a new wrinkle coming to Snohomish’s Kla Ha Ya Days celebration July 18-22 in downtown Snohomish: a barbecue contest with $10,000 as the prize.
It’ll be a two-day barbecue cook off sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbecue Society as “full qualifying event.” That means the Snohomish grill thrill will be one of only three events on the 2012 KCBS barbecue competition season in the state and will feature some of the top barbecue talent in the area.
There will be a minimum $10,000 total prize and award and the competition will feature public sampling of the competitors barbecue and grilling demonstrations.
Entry fee ranges from $50 for a single entrant to $225 for team entries. You can find entry forms here
