“The charges say that Derakshani made unwelcome sexual contact, forcefully touching the breasts, buttocks, and pubic areas of three female patients. Charges also say he used his fingers to penetrate the vagina of another patient, who reported the incident to police,” according to a statement released by the Washington State Department of Health.
Derakshani cannot practice in Washington State until the charges are resolved. He has 20 days to respond to the charges and to ask for a hearing.
The charges can be seen online by clicking, “Look up a health care provider” on the Department of Health website; copies can be requested by calling 360-236-4700.
