Are you a military veteran in Washington State?
If so there's some folks who'd like to hire you

November 11, 2017

(SEATTLE, WA.) -- If you're a military veteran and need a job, you need to know about a hiring workshop being held this coming week to help fill at least 50 jobs at the region's airports and seaports.

Police departments for the Ports of Seattle and Tacoma as well as the Customs and Border Protection agency are holding a hiring work shop Wednesday Nov. 15.

The workshop will offer veterans expedited and preferential hiring, as well as locational preference, to ensure a job here in the Puget Sound.

The event is called "The Guardians of the Gateway” Veterans Career Workshop" and it includes employer representatives who will brief veterans and transitioning military on application processes, salaries and benefits, open positions and career growth opportunities:

Details of the event:

Nov. 15
1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Conference Center at Sea-Tac International Airport
17801 International Blvd. (Pacific Hwy. S)
Seattle, WA 98158

Find more information here which includes a way to register for the event online.
