| RAMPS TO BE INSTALLED IN SULTAN'S SKATE BOARD PARK
 October 01, 2008
 (SULTAN, WA) -- Weather permitting, skate park ramps will be installed on the concrete pad of Sultan’s new skate park at the corner of First Street and Main Street the week of October 6th. Installation of the ramps will complete Phase I of the skate park project. Fencing, dedication plaque, drinking fountain and other amenities will be added in 2009.

| USED BOOK AND CD SALE SET FOR SULTAN

 (SULTAN, WA) -- If you enjoy a good book, movie DVD or music CD at bargain basement prices. this could be your must attend event for the fall. The group Friends Of The Sultan Library has scheduled its Fall sale of used books to take place from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday October 11th at the Sultan Community Center at 319 Main Street.

| POLICE IN SULTAN TO USE NEW SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS
 September 30, 2008
 (SULTAN, WA) -- Sultan Mayor Carolyn Eslick announced today the City will soon begin purchasing surveillance cameras and other technology funded through an $117,000 grant from the Federal Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) Program.
