Burien, WA Shooting determined to not be a ‘drive-by’ as first reported.

(SEATTLE, WA.) – The King County Sherriff’s Office said Monday morning that after further investigation and “inconsistencies in all the victim’s stories” it was determined that one of the three young men accidentally fired one shot Sunday night, “striking all three of the victims legs while seated in the back seat of a vehicle,” and thus the incident was not a “drive-by” shooting done by assailants as the sheriff’s office originally reported to the news media.

(LOS ANGELES, CA.) – Prime Healthcare Services, Inc.; Prime Healthcare Foundation, Inc.; Prime Healthcare Management, Inc.; and Prime’s Founder and chief executive officer, Dr. Prem Reddy, have agreed to pay the United States $65 million to settle allegations that 14 Prime hospitals in California knowingly submitted false claims to Medicare by admitting patients who required only less costly, outpatient care and by billing for more expensive patient diagnoses than the patients had – a practice known as “up-coding.”
