(SULTAN, WA) -- The Sultan School District is offering a program for local families who desire greater personalization, flexibility, choice and control over the education of their children. The program is Columbia Virtual Academy, a program designed specifically for family choice education.

(SULTAN, WA) -- The Sultan school district has named Cal Johnson as the new principal of Sultan High School. Before coming to Sultan High Johnson was Executive Director of Secondary Education for the Mead School District in Spokane.

(SULTAN, WA) -- Sultan is revising its 2004 Comprehensive Plan to be compliant with the Growth Management Act. The Draft Comprehensive Plan and Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement are available for comment. Proposed changes to Sultan's 2004 Comprehensive Plan are available for public comment until August 31, 2008. Copies of the 2008 Draft Revisions to the 2004 Comprehensive Plan (Plan) are available on the City's official website here or by contacting City Hall at 360-793-2231.

(EVERETT, WA) -- Snohomish County authorities continue holding two local residents in the June 26th murder of 49-year old Sultan resident David Grimm at a residence in the 12800 block of 311th Avenue Southeast in Sultan.
