SULTAN TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARING ON COMP PLAN REVISIONS

(SULTAN WA) -- The Sultan City Council plans a public hearing for Thursday, September 25 at 7:00 p.m. to take comments from the public on the proposed 2008 revisions to the city’s comprehensive plan and revisions of development regulations in the Sultan municipal code.

SULTAN OFFICIALS EXTEND MORATORIUM ON BUILDING

(SULTAN, WA) -- The Sultan city council voted last Thursday evening to extend for five more months a moratorium on any further development in Sultan subdivisions, annexations, rezones and other types of construction projects in order to give city officials breathing room to complete a new Sultan comprehensive plan that meets state requirements by October 10.
