FAST THINKING SULTAN MAN FOILS MAIL THIEVES

(SULTAN, WA) -- This past Monday October 6th a local Sultan resident noticed a couple of young men he didn’t recognize peering into mailboxes in his neighborhood and called 911. His prompt response and description of the suspects and their car gave a Sultan Police officer the information he needed to locate and legally detain the men a few blocks away.

SULTAN POLICE TO GET VIDEO SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS

(SULTAN, WA) -- It was announced yesterday the city of Sultan has received an $117,000 federal grant to begin purchasing twelve surveillance cameras and other technology that will allow the city to take a more proactive stance in combating local crime.
