(EVERETT, WA.) – The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has completed the examination and confirmed identification of the Monroe woman who was hit and killed by an SUV Tuesday night July 3rd in Maltby, in Snohomish County, as 51-year old Alicia Chavez Barragan.

(REGIONAL) – The big 13-day closure of State Route 92 at North Machias Road begins today (July 6) at 8:00 pm and wraps up at Thursday afternoon, July 19.

Our pals at WSDOT (state transportation dept.) tell us this bad boy “will have a big effect on those traveling between Lake Stevens and Granite Falls, and we really appreciate everyone’s patience as we get this work done.”
