Lynnwood Police Chief Forms New Community Advisory Committee

(LYNNWOOD, WA) – The newly formed Lynnwood Police Chief's Community Advisory Committee has already held its first meeting.

The new group is a part of Lynnwood Police Department's continuing efforts to connect and engage with the community it serves, according to Chief Tom Davis.

Blaine, WA schools closed after email threat

February 23, 2018

(BLAINE, WA.) – All schools in the Blaine School District were ordered closed Friday after an apparently credible threat was made against one school.

Schools officials said an email was received late Thursday warning of a “threat to safety of those on the Blaine campus,” according to a report by The Bellingham Herald which quoted a notice on the school district’s website and in phone calls to parents and staff.
