FDA Releases Update On Multistate Outbreak of Cyclospora Illnesses Likely Linked to Salads from Fast Food Chain

(NATIONAL) – The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) along with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and state and local officials have been investigating a cluster of cyclosporiasis illnesses likely linked with salads from McDonald’s restaurants in a handful of states.

Early Friday evening the FDA released this brief update on the investigation.

Detectives Arrest Bremerton Man for 2015 Felony Hit and Run Case

(BREMERTON, WA.) – A 49-year-old Bremerton man suspected of being the driver in a felony hit and run case that killed a 64-year-old Port Orchard woman almost three years ago was arrested Thursday afternoon.

(SEATTLE, WA.) – A Seattle Fire Department spokesperson said that five kids, aged 10 to 11 - four boys and one girl - who got into trouble in the water off Seattle’s Discovery Park were rescued Friday afternoon.

Thurston County psychologist license suspended by Wash. State Dept. of Health
