ALABAMA'S SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE BUSTED ON 23 FELONY CHARGES

(NATIONAL) -- One of Alabama's most powerful and high profile politicians, the Speaker of Alabama's State House, Mike Hubbard has been arrested on 23 felony charges.

The charges accuse him of using public office for personal gain. Hubbard was indicted on the charges by a grand jury. They accuse him of misusing his office as speaker and his previous post as chairman of the Alabama Republican Party.
