New Report Says Research Study Discovers Thousands of Android Apps That Improperly Track Children

(NATIONAL) – A website that focuses on tech oriented issues, BGR.com is reporting that researchers affiliated with the International Computer Science Institute (ICSI) have produced a study - “‘Won’t Somebody Think of the Children?’ Examining COPPA Compliance at Scale,” - that “seemingly” has revealed that, “Android’s app store is home to thousands of apps that are improperly tracking...young children.”

(OLYMPIA, WA.) – You might have noticed in the past day or so a number of newspapers in the region running a nice, feel-good story that some or all of them appear to have picked up and ran with off the website for the Wash. State Dept. of Fish & Wildlife.

The agency titled it, “Owners of wildlife rescue center release deer with WDFW's support.” It was and is a nice, feel-good story.
