Third woman sues Olympia area soccer club over alleged sexual assault by a coach

(OLYMPIA, WA.) – A third woman has come forward to sue the Black Hills Football Club, an Olympia area youth soccer club, alleging the club failed to prevent her from being sexually assaulted by a coach when she was a teenager.

Residents in Okanogan County asked to monitor water levels around Okanogan river

(Okanogan County, WA) – As flooding continues to impact residents in Okanogan County in eastern Washington, emergency managers and incident commanders asked citizens throughout Okanogan County yesterday to “closely monitor water levels in and around the Okanogan River and adjacent water ways,” as water levels are expected to rise to near record levels by the end of the week according to a Trooper Jeff Sevigney of the Washington State Patrol.
