(ROME, ITALY) -- From the ground, a huge swath of land north of Italy's Venice airport looks like nothing more than farmer’s fields. It is actually, however home to a long buried Roman metropolis called Altinum, considered the precursor of ancient Venice. Now, using sophisticated aerial imagery, researchers have brought the buried city to life once again.

(WASHINGTON, DC) -- In what appears to be a carefully designed and executed public relations move – where he made prearranged deals with both the New York Times and Washington Post, under which he allowed them to see some of his e-mail messages as well as grant exclusive interviews with both papers – Karl Rove, former President George W. Bush’s top political advisor said he was innocent of any wrong doing in the 2006 controversial firings of nine U.S. Attorneys.
