Coming in May for US Hwy 2 from I-5 to Bickford Ave. in Snohomish

(SNOHOMISH, WA.) – The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) will be paving US Highway 2 from Interstate 5 to Bickford Avenue in Snohomish beginning in May.

This work will remove damaged asphalt and repave both directions of US 2. Additionally, a thorough inspection of the westbound US 2 Hewitt Avenue trestle will be conducted and repairs will be made as needed, according to a statement from WSDOT.

Medical Examiner identifies woman whose body was found in water at Wallace Falls State Park

(EVERETT, WA.) – The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed the identification and completed the examination of the 30-year old woman who was found in the lower falls at Wallace Falls State Park near Gold Bar, WA on April 24th.

“The decedent is Sarah A. Zimmerman of Bothell, WA. The cause of death is drowning. The manner of death is Accident.” says a statement from the ME’s office.
