(INDEX, WA) -- Firefighters from a Sky Valley district firehouse and the State Department of Natural Resources as well as other firefighters continued to battle for a third day on Tuesday a small but hard to fight forest fire about two and one half miles Northeast of the town of Index in the Deer Creek Flats area.
