GOLD BAR MAN WITH MYSTERY ILLNESS TAKES TURN FOR THE WORSE

(EVERETT, WA) - A formerly healthy Gold Bar man who out of the blue became very sick last month with a mystery ailment has taken a turn for the worse. Doctors say an infection in thirty-eight year old Cory Zoutte’s body has spread to his brain. Zoutte was scheduled to be transferred to the University of Washington Medical Center by sometime today.

(GOLD BAR, WA) -- The social outreach program "Safe Stop" for kids made it's debut appearance in Gold Bar this past Wednesday evening and is scheduled to be held each Wednesday night for the remainder of the school year at Gold Bar Elementary school's multipurpose room.

TOURISM PROMOTION FUNDS COME TO SKY VALLEY CHAMBER

STATE AUDIT REVEALS PAST PROBLEMS WITH GOLD BAR'S RECORD KEEPING

(GOLD BAR, WA) -- Results of a just released Washington State audit show a few problem areas existed in Gold Bar’s financial operations during the period of the audit. The audit looked at the city’s books between January of 2005 and December of 2006. It found several deficiencies.
