(ALPINE LAKES WILDERNESS) -- A man who fell nearly 200 feet off a trail in a remote part of Washington State’s Alpine Lakes Wilderness Area Tuesday morning, spent ten painful hours on a bed of rocks on a ledge before being rescued.

(BARING, WA) -- Just one day after a fatal head on collision in the Sky Valley on U.S. Highway 2 just west of the Evergreen State Fairgrounds, there was another bad accident on the infamous “highway of death,” this time near Baring farther east along the roadway.
