(SKYKOMISH, WA) -- The ongoing BNSF cleanup in Skykomish finally got around to the ground upon which the iconic Cascadia Inn & Restaurant sits.

And since no one, it seems, escapes their time in the box when it comes to being displaced as crews dig down and mop up the environmental mistakes of the long ago past, the Cascadia closed down at the end of the business day on Sunday April 18 for what may be an eight week hiatus while the ground beneath it is excavated and replaced.
