(REGIONAL) -- The state department of Natural Resources (DNR) is calling on all Off Road Vehicle (ORV) riders to fill out a DNR questionnaire and return it by June 30th in order for the agency to secure funding for the Walker Valley ORV area.

WORK BEGINS ON HY 2 BETWEEN MONROE & GOLD BAR

(MONROE, WA) -- It’s been a long time coming but crews hired by the Washington State Transportation Department (WSDOT) will begin work the week of June 7 on a host of projects to make the deadly “Highway Of Death” – U.S. Highway 2 in the Sky Valley – safer to use.

They will work from the western end of the long work project to the east, and are scheduled to complete their work in Gold Bar this fall.
