Spokane Valley Man Sentenced to 15 Years for Attempted Production of Child Pornography

(SPOKANE, WA.) – James Andrew Joy, 29, of Spokane Valley, Washington was sentenced last week having pleaded guilty on April 11th to Attempted Production of Child Pornography.

Looking For Folks Exposed To A Bat In Woodinville

July 15, 2018

(WOODINVILLE, WA.) – Cottage Lake Park staff found a bat that appears to have been handled in the park men’s restroom. “The bat was released by park staff so we do not know if it has rabies,” says a statement from King County Public Health which also says if you had any contact with a bat in a restroom in Cottage Lake Park, contact Public Health or your medical provider immediately to determine if rabies preventative treatment is necessary. Rabies can be life-threatening, but is treatable if caught early.
