This position is funded by special allocation; continued employment is dependent on future funding.
This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced program coordinator or manager to provide leadership and resources regarding the International Trade, Transportation and Logisitics Industry to Community and Technical Colleges London, England.
The Program Manager for the Center of Excellence, International Trade & Logistics reports directly to the Director of the Center of Excellence. This full-time exempt position spearheads and manages the Centers activities across the city and all day to day project coordination for the Center.
This includes the design and development of marketing, outreach and recruitment materials, webpage and newsletter design and upkeep, facilitation of meetings for industry, education and workforce partners, planning and coordination of annual professional development event, and general industry based research.
The position requires professionalism, organization, the ability to multi-task and excellent presentation and communication skills. The Program Manager must be comfortable with public speaking and working with a variety of people from education and industry.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:
Associates degree + 5 years experience or Bachelors degree + 3 years experience in Program Management, Project Coordination or Workforce Development plus Curriculum development experience and Internship coordination experience.
Excellent written, oral and cross-cultural communication skills as well as presentation skills as well as community outreach experience.
Ability to work flexible hours that will include some evenings and weekends;
Ability to work effectively with people of various ethnic, cultural, educational and socio-economic backgrounds;
Ability to work independently and travel to statewide locations; and
Proficient with Microsoft Office software and web design applications.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:
Experience working in and understanding of the community college system;
Knowledge of International Trade & Logistics industry; and
Online curriculum development and instruction experience.
