INFORMATION ON INVESTIGATORS SOUGHT
The Sky Valley Chronicle is working on a story about private investigators.
We appreciate all those who have contacted us with information on this subject in the past two months.
We would request at this time that if you have been contacted by either one (or both) of the two private investigators listed below at any time in the past six years, or know of someone who has or know someone who has employed them, we would appreciate it if you would contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Your name will not be used in a news story if you choose to remain anonymous.
According to Washington State documents the two are both middle aged Caucasian males with the names and PI license numbers listed below:
Neil R. Harrison - Date of birth 12/21/57 -
State PI License # 3429
Kenneth O'Dell Christensen - Date of birth 5/5/47 -
State PI License # 3596
Both men are listed as working for an investigative agency in Marysville, Washington called P.S.I investigations, state license # 1886.
PSI 'S ADDRESS IS ACTUALLY A MAIL DROP
The address on their business cards, obtained by the Chronicle is a mail drop in Marysville, not a real office. It is not known if the two work out of a standard office somewhere or out of their homes or somewhere else.
According to state records both men reside in Marysville and Harrison is the owner of the PSI agency with Christensen either employed by the agency or on call for certain assignments as a contract player, as far as is known.
It is known Christensen sometimes accompanies Harrison on appointments to go and make contact with strangers, often showing up without warning at a person's home or place of employment (sometimes even at a neighbor's home) without calling ahead to introduce themselves or to set up an appointment, according to contactees the Chronicle has spoken with.
Harrison has been described by one contactee as "fat and disheveled," in appearance.
Harrison, according to records the Chronicle has obtained, was not even a U.S. citizen when he applied for a private investigator license in Washington State.
He was then a resident alien from Canada. It is not known if he is still not a citizen of this country.
Harrison's first license in this state was issued July 8, 2011 and renewed July 3, 2013. It expires June 30, 2014.
Harrison also has an interest in or owns a similar business in Langley, British Columbia also called PSI investigations. It was not known if the address listed there is a mail drop.
CRISTENSEN AND THE COUNTY
According to state records, Christensen applied for a license as a private investigator on May 24, 2012 and according to the last state records the Chronicle has seen, his license as a private investigator expired July 3, 2013.
Christensen spent most of his life living on the taxpayer's dime in Snohomish County and in the military, according to state records.
He graduated high school in Everett in 1965 and after a short stint in the military worked as a deputy Snohomish County coroner from 1971 to 1973, the same year he got work as a deputy sheriff with the Snohomish County Sheriff's office where he worked until 1997, according to state records.
The same records also show he worked from 1997 to 2009 as a "civilian supervisor" with the sheriff's department doing "audits", "evidence management" and other tasks until he retired in 2010.
If you or someone you know had contact with Mr. Christensen during the years he worked with the county in three different jobs - sheriff’s deputy, deputy coroner and "civilian supervisor" - we would appreciate hearing from you.
It is not known who or how many people employ Harrison's firm PSI but a Jan.15, 2013 news story published in the Seattle Weekly makes mention of a Gold Bar, Washington woman named Anne Block as hiring Harrison to dig into the personal life of former Gold Bar Mayor Crystal Hill.
According to the article:
"Block recently hired private investigator Neil Harrison, of P.S.I. Investigations, who says he's tasked with finding out if Hill, while mayor, was having an affair with Majerle, the water inspector. Prior to that, in July 2009—five months before her term was to expire—an overwrought Hill abruptly resigned her post as Gold Bar's mayor, citing relentless harassment via the Internet from an unknown person. That person, Hill now says, is Anne Block."
According to documents the Chronicle has viewed, both Harrison and Christensen are allowed to be (legally) armed when they call on people unannounced.
