The Washington State Patrolís Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating a fatal truck/motorcycle collision that occurred Wednesday, May 19th in the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 at milepost 204 in Snohomish County.
The collision occurred at 1:24 p.m. and claimed the life of the motorcycle rider 51-year old Scott Weber of Stanwood.
Detectives would like to speak with any witnesses to the events leading up to and the actual collision.

The report on the accident said Weber was traveling northbound on I-5 at Arlington on his 1983 Yamaha XV12T MC in lane three when a 2007 Dodge Pickup, traveling northbound on the shoulder of the freeway, pulled out into lane three.
Weberís motorcycle then rear-ended the pickup, totaling the motorcycle and seriously injuring Weber, who was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. He died shortly after 7:00 p.m. that night.
