(EVERETT, WA.) – The Everett Fire Department has concluded an “origin and cause” investigation of a fatal house fire last week. “It is being classified as undetermined at this time,” said a statement from the fire department.
On Wednesday night Feb. 28th just after 10 pm Everett Fire units responded to 2524 Lombard Avenue for a reported structure fire.
The first units arriving found a “small-detached dwelling on the alley side with heavy fire conditions.” The fire was under control by 10:17 pm.
Fire crews searched the building and found one body. It was in the living room area where most of the fire was located. The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has positively identified the victim as 57-year old Lola E. McKee.
