Americans don't like President Trump's Twitter feed more than they don't like him Says new poll January 01, 2018
Trump tweets: most Americans don't like them says new poll
(NATIONAL) -- President Trump wakes up to the new year today with the knowledge (perhaps) that even though he has the worst public approval rating ever for a first year president, there is one thing about him that Americans don't like even more than his personage-in-the-flesh.
His Twitter feed.
Just 26 percent of 1,500 Americans polled said that Trump's use of Twitter was appropriate, Newsweek reported, according to a survey from "The Economist" and "YouGov."
By the end of his first year in office, Trump - and/or those he designates - had spent an estimated 40 hours tweeting about 2,600 times.
Fifty-nine percent of those polled said they disapproved of the president's tweets to his 45.2 million followers, according to the report.
In the same Economist/YouGov poll done from December 24 to December 26, 55% of those questioned said that Mr. Trump does not have the temperament to be president and only 32% believed Trump was honest and trustworthy.
