It gave you that nervous feeling. Should you go to the doctor or not? Is it skin cancer? Do I chance that it’s not cancer and let it go?
Maybe you have one of those weird blemishes right now. Well, here are some photos that could save your life.
Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer there is, with more than 3.5 million cases affecting more than two million people each year, according to the Skin Cancer Foundation.
And the way you survive it is with early detection.
To that end, CBS News just put up 38 photos on the CBS web site, any one of which could save your life if one of those photos has what you have on your arm, leg, back, wherever.
These shots are a must see for anyone who has had a few severe sunburns in their life, which decades later can be the cause of skin cancer.
