(OLYMPIA, WA) -- The Washington State Board of Psychology has
immediately suspended the license of Thurston County psychologist
Gregory L. Williams pending further legal action.
A statement released July 12 by the Washington State Dept. of Health
says, “Charges state that without permission, Williams accessed
mailboxes assigned to other providers working from a shared office
space, opened mail addressed to other providers, and cashed or
deposited insurance payments and other checks made out to the other
providers totaling $49,000. Williams is also charged with agreeing to
provide a client with financial assistance by paying her rent and
cashing checks written out to her.”
Williams cannot practice psychology in Washington until the charges
are resolved. He has 20 days to respond to the charges and request a
